Siobhan Brodie
Siobhan’s eros with dance is as eternal as her memories. She dances alone, with others, and delights in the dance of life, whether encountered close up or from a distance. Over the years, her passionate curiosity has taken her through university degrees and further studies, onto ships and across landscapes, amongst remote peoples of the world, and deep into the vast interiors of imagination.
Siobhan is an experienced Archetypal Therapist, Teacher, Relationship Counsellor and ConsciousBody Therapist in the Tamboo Academy. She works extensively with individuals and couples, and co-facilitates workshops and therapist-training programmes. Her writings explore therapy, beauty, art, religious sensibilities and the archetypal imagination.
Together with her thiasos, Siobhan delves into image, ritual, pathology, mythology, creative and erotic dialogue, theatre, movement and meditation. Her lifelong dedication to the imaginal takes her on regular pilgrimages to India and other sanctuaries, and into the many forms through which the psyche makes itself known. She is often observed in maenadic ecstasy, or enjoying kulfi, or both together.
